This week in Celebrate Kids we talked about the parable of the three servants. The kiddos were so attentive this week. I love those days because I feel like I could teach all day! :) They illustrated on their own paper while the story was being told so hopefully each child made it back home with it. I encouraged them to retell the story to parents, grandparents or whoever may have brought them to church. However, by the time it may have made it to the car, it may have become a paper airplane! :)

Parents, here is a breakdown of info you may want to use as you take the opportunity to revisit the story of the three servants:
- THEME: We use our talents for God.
- BIBLE VERSE: “Work willingly at whatever you do, as if working for the Lord rather than people.” Colossians 3:23.
- PASSAGE: Matthew 25:14-30
- CHALLENGE: Use your talents for God to serve someone this week. Don’t keep your talents to yourself...share them to bring honor to God and serve someone else.
- Spend time at the dinner table or whatever time your family might all be gathered and go around each telling what their talents are. (You may have to help each other identify if you or your child can’t name their own.)
- Parents, wrap a small box using wrapping paper or tissue paper, and place a bow on top. Set the gift box in the center of the table during a meal. Talk with your family about why you wouldn’t leave a gift box unopened and why you wouldn’t waste the gifts or talents God has given you.
- Read Matthew 25:14-30 one night this week before going to bed. Then pray, and ask God to show you how you can use your gifts or talents for him.
Enjoy “unwrapping” your gifts and sharing them with someone else by serving them!
